Tips and tricks dialog is available in your Store Manager. It can be opened through Help section of the Main Toolbar. In this window you can see some tips and enable "Show tips and tricks on Startup" option to get some helpful hints every time you open Store Manager.
Advanced filters are column filters that can be applied to basically any column of the current page (table). It allows you to show and hide rows (filter) based on cell content.
Data filtration can be executed in any table on the base of filter factors. Required factors are specified in the column title drop-down.
If you select Custom option filter window will appear. It creates a filter statement that will be applied. You can choose this option even if some filter is already established. In this case you'll see this filter's stricture.
There are several values for the data filtration you can select, all listed in a column title droop-down with the check-boxes. Filtration is applied as soon as you mark a box.
If filter for any column is established, then it will be reflected in a special panel that appears at the bottom of the page.
There is a check-box that allows you to disable current filtration, thus show all products. However it does not close Advanced Filter panel.
When clicking - you will see a list of all Advanced filters applied previously. You can change your current filter to any of them.
If you click on Customize button -
you'll see Filter Builder form with current filter structure. You can make any changes here: add, edit or remove filter parameters.
Almost every page or section in Store Manager has an Export to Excel option. By pressing a corresponding button you can save data into an Excel file immediately.
There may be a reason why you need to copy quite a few categories, which can take a lot of time. Thus you can use category Import/Export Wizard to simplify this task.
Let's say you have 5 parent categories, each of them has to include 30 similar subcategories. You've entered all 30 in Category One. Make sure this is the current(selected) category and click Import/Export button, select Export option. Specify the file you want your subcategories to be exported to (e.g. subcategories) and the path to it. Then select "Only from current category" option on the next page and proceed with the export.
Then select all the subcategories, drug them to Category Two and drop there. Subcategories will be moved to that category automatically. Now perform the import of the file you've created (here we used "subcategories"). Category One will list the Subcategories again. This way you'll have same subcategories in 2 categories.
Now Drag&Drop the subcategories From Category One into Category Three and import them again.
This trick can be used on basically any level of your category tree.
